Pool 8 Ball

Pool 8 Ball is classic eight-ball billiards for two players. Break the rack, claim solids or stripes, clear your group and sink the black 8 to win.

The balls roll, bounce and collide with real physics, and an aiming guide shows the ghost ball and where the object ball will go, so every shot feels just right on a phone or a computer.

• On phones the table turns upright for a bigger view. Chat and emoji reactions

1. Start a game: create a room and invite a friend, tap Quick match, or play vs the computer.
2. Aim: drag on the table to point the cue. The dotted line and ghost ball show where you'll hit; use ⟲ ⟳ for fine tuning.
3. Shoot: pull the power bar to choose the strength, then let go.
4. Groups: after the break, the first ball you pot makes you solids (1–7) or stripes (9–15). Pot one of yours and you shoot again.
5. Fouls: potting the white, missing every ball, hitting the wrong group first, or no ball touching a cushion. Your opponent then gets ball in hand: they can place the white ball anywhere.
6. Win: clear your group, then pot the 8 ball. Pot the 8 early or with a foul and you lose.
