Four in a Row

Four in a Row is the classic two-player drop-the-disc game, the one many people know as Connect 4. Take turns dropping red and yellow discs into a seven-column grid. The first to line up four of their own discs across, down or diagonally wins.

It takes seconds to learn and a lifetime to master. Block your opponent's lines, set up two threats at once, and plan which column will fall to whom.

1. Start a game: create a room and invite a friend, tap Quick match, or play vs the computer.
2. Drop a disc: tap any column. Your disc falls to the lowest empty space.
3. Take turns: red goes first in game 1, then players swap.
4. Win: get four of your discs in a row, horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
5. Draw: if the board fills up with no four in a row, the game is a draw.
6. Tip: the middle column gives the most chances to make four. Watch for your opponent's threats and block them!
