Solitaire

Solitaire is the classic card game millions of people grew up with, and you can play it here free in your browser. This is Klondike Solitaire, the version that came with Windows, with smooth drag and drop, one-tap moves and the famous bouncing cards when you win.

Every deal in "winnable deals" mode has been played to the end by a computer solver, so you know every game can be won. It's just you against the cards.

1. The goal: move all 52 cards to the four foundation piles at the top, one pile per suit, from Ace up to King.
2. Build on the table in descending order with alternating colours, for example a red 9 on a black 10.
3. Move runs together. You can move a face-up stack of cards as a group, as long as it's in order.
4. Turn over hidden cards. When you move the last face-up card off a pile, the card under it flips over.
5. Empty columns can only be filled with a King (or a run that starts with a King).
6. Tap the deck to turn cards onto the waste pile (1 or 3 at a time). When the deck runs out, tap it again to start over.
7. Win by getting every card onto the foundations.

Tips: turn over hidden cards first, free up Aces and 2s early, and don't empty a column unless you have a King ready to go there.
