Wordzy is a free online word guessing game you can play instantly in your browser, on your phone, tablet or computer. No download and no sign-up needed.

Your goal is simple: guess the hidden word in 6 tries. After every guess, the letter tiles change colour to show how close you are. Use the clues, think fast and crack the word!

Game modes

• Daily Word: one new 5-letter word every day, the same for everyone. Keep your streak going!
• Play Online: create a private room and share the code with up to 7 friends, or use Quick match to play a random opponent in seconds.
• Practice: unlimited 4, 5 or 6-letter words. Use hints, reveals and extra rows when you're stuck.
• Bot duel: warm up against an easy, normal or hard computer opponent.

1. Type a word using your keyboard or the on-screen keys, then press Enter.
2. Read the colours on each tile:
   • 🟩 Green: the letter is in the word and in the right spot.
   • 🟨 Yellow: the letter is in the word but in a different spot.
   • ⬛ Grey: the letter is not in the word.
3. Use the clues to make a better guess. You have 6 tries to find the word.
4. Every guess must be a real word.

Playing online

• Everyone in the room gets the same word each round.
• Solve it faster and in fewer guesses to score more points.
• Each round has a timer, and the player with the most points after the last round wins.
