Tic Tac Toe

Tic Tac Toe, also called noughts and crosses, is the quickest two-player game there is. Take turns placing X and O on a 3×3 grid. Get three in a row and you win.

Want more of a challenge? Switch to the 15×15 board, where you need five in a row to win (the game some people call Gomoku). It's a whole new strategy battle.

1. Start a game: create a room and invite a friend, tap Quick match, or play vs the computer.
2. Pick the board in the room settings: Classic 3×3 or 5 in a Row (15×15).
3. Take turns: tap an empty square to place your X or O. X goes first in game 1.
4. Win: three in a row on the 3×3 board (across, down or diagonal), or five in a row on the 15×15 board.
5. Draw: if every square fills up with no winner, it's a draw.
6. Tip: on 3×3, start in a corner or the centre. On 15×15, make two open lines at once.
